Hotel description and useful information for travellers

Cleanliness

Multiple reviews describe unclean rooms: stained bedding, crusts and hairs in the bathtub, general dirtiness and unpleasant smells from outside bins.

Service

Numerous comments praise staff: friendly, welcoming, easy check-in and staff who speak French; service repeatedly described positively.

Location

Many reviewers highlight an excellent central location: very close to the Ramblas, metro stations, theaters and waterfront, convenient for sightseeing and transport.

Room Quality

Mixed reports: some guests found beds comfortable and suites modern and spacious, while others report small rooms, poor soundproofing, mold/odors and inconsistent water/AC performance.

Amenities

Amenities are mixed: there is a spa (often with extra charge) and parking/garage access, but guests report broken/narrow elevators, AC leaks, awkward shower/bathtub setups and inconvenient routes to elevators.

Value for Money

Several guests felt the hotel is overpriced for what is offered, citing old installations, extra unexpected charges (tourist tax) and poor-quality included services.

Convenient Location

Located opposite Parallel Metro Station and a short walk from the Ramblas, Hotel Auto Hogar offers easy access to Barcelona's top attractions.

Comfortable Accommodation

Enjoy air-conditioned rooms with modern amenities including flat-screen TVs, private bathrooms with hairdryers, and vanity mirrors for your convenience.
