Cleanliness

Mixed but largely positive: several guests commented on calm and cleanliness (‘la propreté’), though isolated issues (dog poop at entrance) were reported.

Service

Consistently negative service reports: rude or uncaring reception, poor handling of booking problems (including refusal to honor confirmed reservations), locked doors and dismissive behavior.

Location

Strong positive consensus: multiple guests highlight an excellent, central location close to amenities and attractions.

Room Quality

Mixed: several reports of uncomfortable mattresses, cramped rooms and shower/water problems (lukewarm or brown water), though some found the rooms cozy.

Amenities

Some welcome touches (bottle of wine, glasses) but practical amenities underwhelming for some guests: poor internet connection, no free coffee/creamer, slow elevator response, and issues with water supply.

Experience the charm of Paris at Hôtel Castex, where comfort meets convenience in the heart of the city.

Delicious Dining

Savor a delightful buffet breakfast served daily from 7: 30 AM to 10: 30 AM, or indulge in room service during limited hours for a cozy dining experience right in your room.
