Hotel description and useful information for travellers

Children and extra bed policy

Children of any age are allowed. A cot for children up to 2 years is free of charge.

Cleanliness

Multiple reviews mention rooms as clean or 'spotless' and tidy; generally positive cleanliness impressions despite basic/spartan rooms.

Service

Staff repeatedly described as very kind/helpful, 24-hour reception, helped arrange taxis and lent items (iron) — overall good service.

Location

Overwhelmingly praised: waterfront/harbour location, central for shopping and restaurants, excellent views from balconies.

Room Quality

Rooms are described as basic/small with small bathrooms and tight balconies; balcony/view are highlights but thin walls and cramped space are noted.

Amenities

Basic but useful amenities mentioned (kettle, mini-fridge, available iron, elevator) — adequate for the hotel’s size but not extensive.

Lucia hotel is located in the heart of the Venetian port of Chania. Most rooms overlook the Venetian Harbour and the Venetian lighthouse. Nearby are ancient and modern monuments and numerous entertainment options. Part of the hotel is Tamam, one of the best restaurants in Crete. The first beach is 800 meters away.
